Mikes Cafe is Awesome! They have a HUGE menu! The food is authentic and Amazing. The Restaurant itself is really cool. They have about 30 tables and they have about 5 big round tables for group servings of Hot Pot. The reason I came was to get my Pho fix for the week. I go to my favorite Pho restaurant in Sherwood every week but they are closed for a month. So I drove here from Sherwood like an addict needing to score and Mikes Provided! The flavors were amazing the portion was large and the service was excellent. I’ll be back! I want to try some of their other items on the menu!

Stopped in for lunch a few weeks ago. What an amazing experience. Our server, Summer, was very nice and easy-going. She made us feel right at home and gave us great recommendations! The menu does not show a vegetarian/vegan option, however they can accommodate this if you ask. My wife is a vegetarian and loved it! Both dishes had so much flavor and the portions are generous, we had plenty for later. Didn’t get a photo of the tofu spring rolls, but highly recommend these also. Maybe the best peanut sauce I’ve ever had. Great atmosphere, delicious food, great value, fantastic service. Will definitely be back again and again!

I've been eating here for the better part of a decade now. When I say it's hands down the best phō, I mean it!! Also if your a fan of hot tea they make the most divine pot of hot Jasmine in the city!

This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I was impressed. The place is clean and spacious, offering both table and booth seating. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of dishes. We ordered the fried tofu, beef chow fun, and grilled shrimp rice vermicelli noodles salad, all of which were delicious and authentically flavored. I will definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

This is a hole in the wall for sure! Love the food, service , and roominess at Mike’s on Asher. Have been going here for years. Must try everything!! Seriously, you have to get the order of Vietnamese egg rolls. To Di for. Most people get the Pho. Pronounced Fuh. Hearty but delicious and delicate broth with your choice of meats, noodles, and vegetables. Don’t judge a book by its cover meaning walk on in this cool old building and be prepared for a big treat!

Tony’s Cafe offers an authentic Vietnamese experience with standout dishes like their spring rolls and chicken pho. The spring rolls are fresh and packed with flavor, making them a must-try. The chicken pho is rich and aromatic, perfect for warming up on a chilly day. Tony himself provides friendly service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. With plenty of seating available, it’s a great spot for both casual meals and gatherings. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious Vietnamese cuisine.

Im going to tell you now that Mike's Cafe is worth the visit. It not better than some Vietnamese restaurants I've been to but it is good. You really need to try it out. It's a staple like Mr. Chens was.

Mike's offers, as far as I'm concerned, the best Vietnamese food in Little Rock. The Vietnamese chicken salad is amazing (photo below): thinly sliced cabbage, pickled daikon and carrot, onion, cilantro, culantro, crushed roasted peanuts, boiled chicken, and a sweet-sour dressing of nước chấm,, lemon juice, piquant red pepper, and a bit of sugar. The portions are enormous; one order is enough for two diners with hearty appetites. Also wonderful is the rice vermicelli salad topped with grilled pork (photo below). The owners and servers are consistently friendly and welcoming, unlike some of the folks working at Mike's main competitor, who looked us in the eye on our last visit then turned their backs and refused to see us for several minutes, as we stood waiting to be shown a table — last time we'll go there. The phos are great at Mike's, egg rolls are crisp and full of flavor. The Vietnames bánh mì sandwiches are also delicious. The one photographed below is grilled pork dressed with cilantro, strips of cucumber, pickled julienned daikon radish and carrot, and rounds of jalapeño pepper. The menu also promised house butter mayo and soy sauce, but unless those were applied so sparingly as to be nearly invisible and impossible to taste, I didn't notice either on my sandwich. But never mind: it was delicious as is. It arrived warm — warmed bread and heated slices of pork — and it was a delight to bite into the small crusty baguettes that have to be baked, I would think, in a Vietnamese bakery. I have to warn, though, that the slices of jalapeño can have quite a kick. So if you don't tolerate hot peppers well, you may wish to have them left off the sandwich or served on the side. I've eaten nothing at Mike's that isn't first-rate.
